01Who is responsible
Bazi, a sole-proprietor service, reachable through the message button on our product page, is the data controller for the processing described here.
02What we collect

We never see your card. Payment details go directly to Gumroad and never reach our servers.
No tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site pixels, session recording, or third-party analytics that profile you. Your language preference and the last details you typed are stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device, and are not sent to us except as part of a request you make.
03What leaves our server
To write a reading, we send the following to a large language model provider:
- the calculated chart — pillars, hidden stems, ten gods, element counts, luck cycles, the current year and month;
- the conclusions our own code derived from that chart — strength, favourable elements, clash and combination findings;
- your question, as you typed it;
- the language of the page.
What is not sent: your name, your email address, your IP address, and the raw birth date. The birth date is used to compute the chart on our server and is not forwarded as a field of its own.
We call the provider through its business API, not through a consumer chat product. Under the API terms of the providers we use, data submitted through the API is not used to train their public models.
04Who processes it
- Gumroad — merchant of record. Handles payment, tax, receipts and refunds. It holds your email and payment details; we do not. Gumroad's privacy policy applies to that part.
- A large language model provider — receives chart data and your question, as described above, to generate the reading.
- Our hosting provider — stores the database and serves the site.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There are no other recipients.
05Legal basis (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — calculating the chart, generating and storing the reading you paid for.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — rate limiting, abuse prevention, keeping records of orders for tax and accounting. We keep this minimal.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — the optional name field. You may leave it blank.
A question about a health problem, a pregnancy, a diagnosis, an addiction, or a legal dispute may reveal special-category data under Art. 9. Please do not include it. Our question box explicitly asks you not to. If you include it anyway, we process it only to answer the question you asked, on the basis of your explicit consent in submitting it, and it is passed to the model provider in the same way as any other question.
For animal readings, requests about the animal's health are blocked before they reach the model. See section 7 of the Terms.
06How long we keep it

07Where it is stored
Our server is located outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. If you are in the EEA or the UK, this means your data is transferred outside it; where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision for that transfer. The model provider may process data in another region as well; its own safeguards apply to that leg of the journey.
08Your rights, and the one-click delete
You can ask to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to us through the message button on our product page.
Delete without writing to us: fill in the same birth details and the same question, then use "Delete my data". It removes every reading stored for that chart and question, immediately and permanently. The order record is retained in a form without the reading content, because tax law requires us to keep the transaction. Nothing survives that could reconstruct a reading.
Your browser keeps the last inputs in local storage — clear your browser data to remove that copy. Gumroad keeps its own purchase record under its own policy, which we cannot delete for you; write to Gumroad for that.
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully you may complain to your local supervisory authority. We would rather you wrote to us first.
09Children
The service is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and you must be 18 or the age of majority to purchase. If you believe a child's data has reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
10Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. The database is not exposed to the internet. Backups are kept off the public path and rotated. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
11Changes
If we change what we collect or who receives it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
